the personality of the ornaments
Greetings from snowy Rhode Island! Saturday we took down our Christmas tree. My boys turned the somewhat daunting task into a game by sorting out their favorite ornaments. I did the same and realized that I am gathering quite a cute collection of little snowmen. Being a blogger, of course I had to take a quick break to snap some photos!
It's funny because looking at each snowman individually in these pictures, they seem to have their own personalities. This guy above looks very friendly: "Good to meet'cha!"
(Okay, I hope I am not sounding too crazy. Maybe I should've waited to do this post until after breakfast!)
mild mannered and welcoming
sweet and bashful
a nice kid
busy
shy and would sound like winnie-the-pooh
a bit goofy but funny
Okay, time to eat! xo

I love your snowmen! :) so cute, thanks for sharing
and aren't they precious!!! I hate putting all my favorite ornaments away. It is somewhat sad. So, many stay out all year....especially the glittery ones. :)
Hi Elyse,
I was so happy to visit Cynthia's Cottage Design today which led me on a little trail to your site. Wow!! Am I glad :-D
Today is my "Reading Posts Day".. I love to catch up with everyone and of course look at all the tablescapes. And now I am off to ETSY!! I am looking forward to seeing your handcrafted goodies and more. I'll visit again and hopefully have time to take a better look at that recipe on your sidebar!!

Sweet post.
Oh, MY GOSH! THat is so funny! Yes, you're snowmen ornaments DO have personality, but I must say, as the author of the post you have got quite a sense of humor! I love your take on things! Very cute!
I love little snowman ornaments, too. I also have the sparkly one in the middle picture - were those Martha Stewart? I like mine out through January so they can be winter ornaments as well as Christmas ones. -- Michele
I know this note is so late but I am new to your blog and I was scrolling through....I just chuckled at the first snowman...his "hands" is like out when trying to calm oneself and saying ohmmmm.....I know there is a name for that...but it was so funny! I am off to read some more of your cute blog!
