tinkering time

Much of my tinkering is done in small stages.

Like these clothespins, which I painted while in the basement late one afternoon, in between switching loads of laundry.

I'll be up in a minute!

I often snip paper and decoupage while supervising homework.

I treasure my found moments of tinkering (and my can of aqua paint).

Happy weekend!

So cute.... What happy little things.. I try to find little bits of time wherever I can too. My biggest chunk is always when we're on a little road trip... I'll have a pile of stuff on my lap.

Huggies,
Spencer

Everytime I see that popcycle stick box, I have to smile. It takes me right back to a summer when I was about 10 and we made them at a craft camp. I can still smell all the glue. :) Kit

Very sweet ... It's hard to find time to do what you love. Funny about the fabric I posted being your curtains. I LOVE all of the fabrics I got from the Darla collection. I have them listed for sale but they will be very hard to part with!!

Pretty little tinkerings! ♥

I imagine - with two boys, homework, laundry, work, etc. - you have to grab whatever time you have to tinker.

Such a pretty color - you know it's my fave! Have a good weekend.

Those are just the cutest things ever. I can see using them for sooo many different things...a magnet on the back and hung to hold homework papers and projects....used on a small line to show off pretty little hankies....chip bag closers...OH SO CUTE! Now that I have thought of all these different uses wouldn't you like to just send me those? I know you don't want them anymore...and if you send them to me it will make room for you to do some more projects! What do you mean, Are You Crazy? Well, of course I am...but thanks for asking! lol

Theya re absolutely darling and I adore them! Hugs- Diana

I have a can awaiting painting of an antique china cabinet (the top is gone). I just LOVE those clothespins! Makes hanging the laundry so much more bearable :D.

Your tinkering is always so inspiring. I've got to get to tinkering. So much to do; so little time. And I don't even have homework to supervise.

Hi Elyse, such lovely tinkering indeed. And congrats on being published. So many bloggers are in the October issue of Romantic Homes. How wonderful! I wish I could get that magazine here. Getting any magazine is hit or miss in this country. Hope you have a great week. :) Tamy

Love those little projects done while kiddos are doing homework, everything is kind of peaceful but you're all spending quality time doing independent things. So pretty...those jars remind me that I want to try to make rose petal jam.
