a dozen uses

The other day while taking a little errand detour into TJ Maxx, I found this set of mini salt and pepper shakers. There are enough of them that I can use some for their intended purpose . . .

and others to hold small crafty items.

I am thinking they will also make sweet vases for small spring flowers.

They were on the clearance table and cost just $2.00 for the set. Looks like I got "the max for the minimum" or in this case, the minis for the minimum!

OK, I drove right past TJ Maxx yesterday thinking to myself "I should stop - NO! KEEP DRIVING! - I should stop . . . NO! KEEP DRIVING!" I was a good girl (smack upside my head) and kept driving. Now I want to go all the way back!
These are just too cute! And a wonderful way to put them all to good use.
As my friend Joy would say "START THE CAR!"
HAGD! :)

Those are darling Elyse!! I love how many there are! I wish I could find some, how cute they would be for my sil baby shower!! I love your ideas for them too :):)

YES, bunnies are actually a LOT of work. Everyday, my oldest three boys clean the cages, feed them and water them a few times a day. In the cold month, the water bottles tend to freeze so they have to be checked throughout the day. My boys do all the work with them though and I am so proud of that. But bunnies are so adorable and sweet, they are worth the work :)

Amy

Oh LOVE! What a score that was. I'd go look for some but that would require me to walk into a TJ Maxx and that would be a very dangerous proposition indeed for me right now!

What a truly wonderful find. And they are pink to boot. So cute! Glass s&p shakers here can be bought for less than a $1 and I've thought of doing the same. Certainly wouldn't find any as cute as this. Have fun filling them up. :) Tmamy

Marshalls and TJ's are the best....well, actually HomeGoods is the very best but we don't have that here in Pittsburgh. Probably a good thing-I would be broke! These are the dearest shakers. I've seen the little sets before but not in pink. Perfect for you and your sweet tiny treasures! Stay warm!

No way, Elyse! I'm soooo in love with those shakers! I've found clear glass shakers, but not PINK! I must check out our TJ's, but I'm quite certain I won't find them especially on clearance for $2! Bargain of the year! BTW, would love if you could come to my Valentine Brunch. I'm sure you'd fit right in with all my friends and guess what, none of them are bloggers! Weird, huh?
