better than candy

Yesterday I splurged and bought myself a copy of Somerset Life. I couldn't resist when the contents revealed that Tiffany and Andrea were included!

I am hoping that with the end of Daylight Savings, I will find an hour today to get cozy and slowly savor each page. Any plans for your extra hour?

Hi Elyse,

I've never seen this mag - living under a rock up here. :0 I'm heads-down working on getting my shop back online. Hey, after reading it, maybe you wouldn't mind giving us the Cliff Notes - that's what I could do w/ my extra hour!

elyse, you are going to love it.
I keep mine in the car so that when I'm waiting to pick up the kiddos I can lose myself in it.
Today for my extra hour, sleep was on the agenda.
Enjoy your magazine.

I think I will be using that extra hour to paint some more rooms in my house....I am hoping to be pretty much settled by Thanksgiving...

OH I used it sleeping! And you know the Somerset Life only comes out every 3 months which means it's only $4.99 a month! SO that's how I feel better buying it!! It is so great it seems to keep me happy that long too! ENJOY!!!
Hugs, Lisa

I love that magazine! I've already read it. I take my time and savor it.
It is so beautiful! Artful Blogging and Where Women Create are due to be out this month, too!

Unfortunately, I had trouble sleeping last night and the extra hour didn't mean a great deal...plus the dogs don't understand it and just want to eat earlier!

Oooooh! Enjoy your magazine.

You know me...I'm a late night girl, so I used my hour in the middle of the night to stay up later. hehe!

Hope the boys had fun trick or treating last night!

Hi Elyse, I am funny about the extra hour. I still haven't changed my clocks. I knew what time it was this morning and made it to Church on time. But right now it is almost 7PM and yet it is really almost 6PM... I think I will change my clocks now. I believe I am ready for my extra hour. The fall back time doesn't hurt quite as bad as the spring forward. Anywho, have a wonderful extra hour.

Oh Elyse,
Thanks for the tip sweetie. I am going to buy a copy of Sommerset Life and see if I can lose myself for a couple of hours. I am always looking for a new magazine to pick up. I can't wait to see it.

I'm also tickled to see Claudia suggested Artful Blogging and Where Women Create that are due out this month. I will be watching for those also.

Happy November sweetie! Country hugs, Sherry

I wish I had the extra hour, but if I did there is nothing better than mulling over a beautiful book or magazine.

I hear ya! I've had that issue for 2 weeks and still haven't read it. At this point I think I'll save it for my Silver Bella airplane ride!

My extra hour seems to have been swallowed up with Halloween party preparations this year but there's nothing I like more than to sit by the fire in the evening, with a new magazine! Hope you enjoy reading this one.

That is one of my favorite magazines. That issue is really nice. I will follow the links to your friends. The best part about blogging is that often when you open a favorite magazine, you see your friends.

That extra hour, bake some cupcakes!

We had the extra hour October 25th! That extra hour just blends in easily while I am a week not exactly myself when we loose that hour in Spring. Summerset Life is just my favorite!

Hope you had a great weekend and are having an even better week! Just stopped by to say hello! :)

Elyse - Could I please just get around to telling you I'm just beyond SORRY that it's taken me SOOO long to post my pay-it-forward post!!! I was all set to do it one day then I got sick and blah, blah, blah. Who cares! Regardless, I posted about it today and I'm still in love with all my little Tinkered Treasures. You're awesome and I can't thank you enough. Hope you're having a good week ~ ♥

This is a great issue! They are a little pricey but so worth it. I actually made some of the fun velvet ribbon bookmarks.
