treasure spotlight 1

Part of the fun of winning a giveaway, buying something from a blogging friend's shop, being part of a swap, or giving or receiving a Pay-it-Forward gift is making others aware of some of the inspiring creativity among us in Blogland.

I am so happy when I find that a post of mine has lead new followers to someone's blog or shop. Whenever I display the treasure spotlight image in a post, you will know that I will be showing and sharing the work of some talented bloggers.

SPOTLIGHT on: WILLY NILLY ART & WHIMSY

I was among the very lucky winners of the First Lollishop Design Team Giveaway. This coolest of cool rings was made by Michele at Life on This Good Day. I was so impressed by this giveaway that I decided to open a Lollishop. (Now if I could just find the time to work on my new shop)

GASP! Michele included this beautiful tag, too. Ooh la la! Michele has online shops at both Etsy and Lollishops; both can be accessed through her blog.

SPOTLIGHT on: THE BEEHIVE COTTAGE/SASSY SADIE LEE

Maryjane of The Beehive Cottage is my fairyblogmother. She leaves the most encouraging comments, has sent me gifts just-because, and if you read her blog you will find the sweetest and spunkiest role-model there ever could be. Maryjane has 2 shops on Etsy, both accessible from her blog. She creates beautiful tags, like the irresistible one I purchased (above), among other things.

BOOtiful banners streaming with seam binding, like this one that she sent me for my birthday. (See -- fairyblogmother!)

One of Maryjane's birthday banners. A just-because from the little busy bee herself!Link
I hope you will visit both Michele and Maryjane's blogs and shops. As for me, my week has been crazy-busy. I haven't even sewn a stitch yet (eeek!) and I am way behind on my blog visits and comments. I did manage to mail Debi's birthday swap.

tee hee!

I'm off to one of your links, I'm a lurker at the Beehive. Good luck on your personal swap for Natasha's challenge, I still have to start...but wasn't that the idea behind this all, that you just don't make time for yourself? LOL! Have a lovely day and take care!

Love hearing about new-to-me bloggers and shops! I already know Maryjane and love her creativity. She and I hoped to meet up when I was in California, but never managed to - darn!

Sister arrives today. We will chat, go to antique shops, and to the Sheep and Wool Festival in Rhinebeck - full of knitters and spinner and artists from all over! It is supposed to rain most of the time she is here - darn it. But we will have fun!

xoxo
Claudia

Hello ELyse,

The tags are pretty and perfect adornment for your window as banner.
