generosity, beauty and capuchins

Yesterday I visited one of my favorite Ocean State treasures, a shop called the greenery. It is such a cool gift and flower shop and the owner Bridget is the obvious reason why. Her shop is filled with unique gifts, cards, wonderful antiqued wire objects, and of course, flowers. I brought Bridget some vases I had in the basement to use for arrangements in the shop. Bridget thanked me a million times over first by giving me a generous supply of cabochons and then a bouquet of flowers "past their prime." {really?}

The flowers in the girlie office. Even a peony!

The cabochons (which I kept calling "capuchins")

Not a cabochon.

My eight-year old helped me sort them out.

I told him, imagine someone just gave you a whole stack of Pokèmon cards. He understood my excitement.

If you know anyone in or near Rhode Island, please tell them to visit the greenery.

Have a lovely Monday!

What a cute post. Not being crafty, I understand the picture of the monkey more than the other cabu... but I get the generosity!! :) I'm so glad there are people like you that can show me all the crafty beauties that I can admire.

Love the comparison to pokemon cards, I didn't realise they were still around. I can remember my eldest going mad for the them.
Love the idea of using your cupcake tray to display.
Have a great week

You freaked me out with the monkey. Oh my gosh though, what treats. First off the bouquet is delightful. I have Peony envy. But those little whatever you call them (please tell me how to pronounce it next time you're at the library) are so perfect and look amazing the way you sorted them out. How fun!!!!! Great photos.
