little post on a rainy day

Home on a rainy day. One of my boys is home, too (just a little under the weather). In between keeping him comfy, I'm fitting in some tinkering.

What do you like to do on rainy days?

  14. Hello:

    I used to enjoy rainy days...until fibromyalgia come to my life: I felt more pain in rainy days. I almost would have wanted never rain again.
    Now I feel better and with that I have recovered my joy for rainy days. I enjoy baking with my little daugther and sewing and watching old movies... sometimes I don't make anything: If I can watch the rain without pain I don't need anymore, that's enough for me.

    Cariñitos.

  16. Aloha Elyse;
    Love your clothespins! Great how you tinker.
    I like when it rains, must be a rainy season everywhere right now. It's been raining here in Hawaii too. Actually in my section of the island I get rain almost everyday, even if just a little.
    I spend time in my "room" working on unfinished projects or if I have a hand-needlework project, I'll be in my recliner with my dog snuggled up to me as I bead or quilt.
    Hope your son feels better.

  21. Such pretty things! When it's rainy here (like it is again today) I like to curl up in bed and watch an English film like "Sense and Sensibility" -- even though I rarely do it. Usually I clean house or work on crafting!

  33. Hi Elyse,
    I think these dramatic changes of weather here...first super hot, then cold and rainy, are causing people to feel under the weather. My daughter being one of them too. Anyways, I do love rainy days though...they always put me in a crafty creating mood. Hope your son feels better soon. Have a wonderful day.

    Hugs and Kisses,
    ♥Ana
