paris swap - from moi

If you have ever played with the idea of participating in a swap, there's no better place to start than when Heather at Speckled Egg plays hostess. Heather is organized and always selects a theme bursting with possibilities.

I took part in Heather's recent Petite Inspiration Box Swap - Paris Edition and since my partners Becca and Jeanne have opened their boxes, I can share with you what I sent to them.

I could have easily worked with my usual palette of pastels but opted instead to play around with new-to-me colors and textures, keeping with an oatmeal and turquoise scheme. Ooh la la!

My original plan was to fill a petit tiroir and tuck it inside the larger box, but then i really liked how it looked stacked on top and glued it in place.

I covered and filled the boxes with new and vintage treasures. Some purchased and some from other swaps and gifts, like ...

paper envelopes from Keren and French dictionary pages from Cassandra. Gifts that keep on giving!

Yep, that's one of the cards I posted about previously.

I hope to take photos of the beautiful boxes I received ASAP.
